Joe’s musical life began early when he heard Trevor Jones’ soundtrack for 1998’s ‘Merlin’ featuring Sam Neill.

Since then, he has delved into the worlds rock, metal and folk music, before doing a degree in classical composition at the London College of Music.

Following his degree Joe founded Albion along with fellow guitarist Jack Clark before joining Jethro Tull as their new guitarist at the start of 2020.

Covid aside, Joe toured internationally with Tull before leaving in 2024 in order to have more time to focus on Albion following the release of the debut album.

The Tull connection remains however as Jack Clark took up the mantle and continues to tour with the JT boys while still fulfilling his Albion duties.
